About the Event

According to our survey, 61% of working mothers are now tasked with childcare and tutoring whilst carrying out their work deliverables.  We find this topic is especially important during the pandemic when parents would need to face their children a lot more. Hence, in this next series of our #savemysanity webinar, we bring to you the topic of parenting.

Family is like a puzzle, every piece plays a role. Naturally, parents are the assumed leaders of the family, who lead in piecing the puzzle parts together. However, sometimes parents struggle to lead and work alongside others. This talk focuses on sharing how to connect with yourself by sorting out the inner puzzles and re-centering back to the desired pathway. Using self as a model of shaping, you can then apply the learned strategies to manage your children’s concerns. As such, you can relate better to your children, knowing which puzzle parts needed to be addressed first.

This topic is for any parents or would-be parents, grandparents, or those who play a role in parenting.

Join May Liu, a clinical psychologist and a certified Mindful Parenting Instructor, who has vast experience in dealing with family issues and parenting training. Her expertise is mindfulness-based therapy, mindful parenting, and family therapy. In this brief session, she will share a framework in connecting self from within and applying it to parenting and relating to children. This framework serves as a base for parents to gain insights on how to manage their own needs as well as family needs.
